An independent and locally owned pharmacy( Anchor Compounding Pharmacy) in Nanaimo is looking to hire a pharmacy assistant for part time position to join the pharmacy team. Computer efficiency and positive attitude are imperative for this position. Experience preferred however, not required as we are willing to train the right individual. We are looking for someone who is confident with their skills and can learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- intake and dispensing of prescriptions
- using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
- ordering items
- maintaining and counting inventory
- receiving, loading, unloading deliveries
- Blister packaging of meds.
- answering customers questions face to face or by phone
- preparing, pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines
- handling and processing till transactions
- referring problems or queries to the pharmacist
- additional duties when necessary
Wage will be based on experience and negotiable.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
